Free Raisins Videos

The Free Raisins played the Scout House on Thursday and Frank took videos. He got his camera set up on the fireplace partway through on the third set of the evening, and recorded all the dances after that. The sound is from a recorder he put on the stage in front of us, which means it picked up very little of the caller or dancers and a lot of the band talking to each other. It's kind of weird to me to hear how much verbal planning and organization we do during the dance. [1]

I didn't ask for enough mandolin during sound check, and by the time I realized there wasn't enough and asked for more I had been overplaying and tired myself out a lot.

Which Came First, the Chicken or the Egg?
