A contra band friend who plays the banjo once said \"This stuff is supposed to be _danced_ to. It's boring to _listen_ to.\" And, he says, boring to play. To whatever degree that is true, many bands' CDs are significantly different from what they play for dancing customers. It seems to me that bands do the stuff on CDs that's entertaining for _them_ -- for once. Which I find considerably less satisfying than listening -- and dancing -- to. I LOVED your first CD, because it was what I heard at dances.
