I've had people be unwilling to go to reenactment events because it's \"cultural appropriation\" (many people aren't from the culture they reenact. Eg I do Baltic, but my family is mainly Slavic). <br><br>I feel like you're missing the point when a phrase becomes a relic that is no longer serving a purpose. Cultural appropriation isn't bad because it's appropriation. It's bad if it causes harm or distress. Most cultures are HAPPY when outside people are interested in their history and culture.
