I'd be happy with a simple widget that let me just choose a fret and effectively bar it up to that point. But I also want to be able to evenly switch between a muted an unmuted sound. Though maybe I could have a guitar tuned xxxDGD with the low three strings permanently muted and the high three strings replaced with three more low ones in a drop-d ish tuning. Then I could choose to play muted or not by varying where I struck. Maybe the fretting could be with servos, controlled via midi with the piano?", "timestamp": "1541981801"}, {"author": "Bob", "source_link": "https://www.facebook.com/jefftk/posts/967521806422?comment_id=967543223502", "anchor": "fb-967543223502", "service": "fb", "text": "less is more", "timestamp": "1541978053"}, {"author": "Jeff Kaufman", "source_link": "https://www.facebook.com/jefftk/posts/967521806422?comment_id=967543223502&reply_comment_id=967553328252", "anchor": "fb-967543223502_967553328252", "service": "fb", "text": "→ Bob probably half the time were just playing as a fiddle/piano duo, but it's nice to be able to add things when that's the feeling we're going for", "timestamp": "1541981853"}, {"author": "Don", "source_link": "https://www.facebook.com/jefftk/posts/967521806422?comment_id=967549720482", "anchor": "fb-967549720482", "service": "fb", "text": "Probably not directly in line with your request but are you aware of Martin's work?
