\"A1:
(4) gypsy neighbor
(8) swing neighbor
(4) neighbor aleman left\"

\"B2:
(8) partner swing
(8) ladies chain\"

The problem with these two is that they have the swing ending in the middle of the phrase. The A1 example is worse because it ends 4 beats from the end, but even the B2 one would confuse people. In a modern contra dance people expect to swing until the end of A1/A2/B1/B2.

\"B2:
(4) Circle 3/4, pop the ones through
(4) Balance four with new neighbors
(8) Circle 1.5\"

In this one, there's just not enough time for everything that's happening. Circle 3/4 takes about 6 beats and popping them through takes about 2 beats, so that first (4) needs to be about (8). And then circle 1.5 takes about 12 beats, so it's not really practical to get that far in just 8.
