The short version is that I've been inspired by Penn Jillette's book Presto!, and in particular the part about eating less frequently. I generally only eat during a 4 - 6 hour window each day, typically in the form of something light at around 15:00, and then a slightly larger than normal dinner at a normal dinnertime. That isn't really the main point of their plan, which is really about eliminating processed grains, animal products, sugar, oil, and salt; or to put a more positive spin on it, eating primarily whole plants. I've tried to do some of that, but the big change for me was eating less frequently. I've lost about sixty pounds over the past year and change, much of it in the early days, now more slowly, and I expect to bottom out pretty soon (if I haven't already -- hard to tell, confounded by holiday disruptions).", "timestamp": "1518385627"}, {"author": "Josh", "source_link": "https://www.facebook.com/jefftk/posts/926672733292?comment_id=926673352052&reply_comment_id=926685737232", "anchor": "fb-926673352052_926685737232", "service": "fb", "text": "→ https://www.facebook.com/irilyth/posts/913041076242 is my most recent FB post about it.", "timestamp": "1518385711"}, {"author": "Victor", "source_link": "https://www.facebook.com/jefftk/posts/926672733292?comment_id=926673441872", "anchor": "fb-926673441872", "service": "fb", "text": "I used to wear thinner clothing but last year read that exposure to cold triggers the appetite.
