The array may then be based on a flexible sheet which will conform better to the anatomy. Also, the current design, perhaps plated in some sort of metal, makes me think \"Steampunk Morris.\"
On another note, what if you kept the flexible leather mounting of bells rather than a heavy, rigid frame? It is less protected, but the simplicity is far better
