Contra Dance
Ginger Tea

This dance is pretty, but the A1 doesn't work that well; people
are not used to ending swings except at the end of phrases, and
especially not 3/4 through a phrase like this. The B2 is likely
to be a problem once the caller stops too. Anyways, I wrote
a dance, Ginger Beer, in an
attempt to fix these.
(Duple Improper)
A1
- (4) Ravens right shoulder round, Larks orbit half way
- (8) Ravens melt down to a swing
- (4) Alleman neighbor left
A2

- (4) Alleman left 3/4 into long wavy lines (Larks out)
- (4) Balance wave
- (4) Ravens walk forward, Larks turn over right shoulder

- (4) Larks walk forward, Ravens turn over the right shoulder
- (4) Long lines (Larks out), balance
- (4) Ravens walk forward, Larks turn right
B2
- (8) Swing partner
- (8) Ravens Chain
